Celebrating Fifty Years of Community Theatre

The Saint Clair Theatre Guild is reaching its half-century mark (should be hearing from AARP any day) and is inviting all past and present members to join us in celebrating our fiftieth season. Have an idea to help make it special? We’d love to hear your ideas at our Annual Meeting, Sunday, September 18th at 4 p.m. in the SCTG Building.

SCTG series of events for the 2016-17 Season

September 13 & 14 at 7 p.m.

Auditions for A Company of Wayward Saints (one of SCTG’s early presentations). Auditions will be held at the SCTG Building at 7 p.m. Cast includes 6 men, 3 women.

October 29 at 4 and 7 p.m.

Two showings of Raygo Productions’ locally produced movie, “Mary’s Buttons”, will be presented at the Saint Clair Knights of Columbus (K of C) Hall, 3501 Rattle Run Road. Shows at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.  Tickets $15 per person.

November 11 & 12 at 7 p.m.

A Company of Wayward Saints play presented at the K of C Hall at 7 p.m. Tickets, $15; Students, $12

November 18 at 6 p.m.

SCTG, of course, will participate in the Annual Santa Parade. Date TBA for the Annual Christmas Caroling at Medilodge & Mallards Landing.

March 5, 2017

The popular Dueling Pianos will be featured again for our Scholarship Fund Raiser at the K of C Hall. Great Fun & Great Cause!! Table of 10 – $200 or $25 per person

The Voices in Harmony showcase again will be presented by both male & female regional and international quartets as well as Barbershop Choruses, many of whom have enjoyed state & national championships. Tickets $20

“Fifty Years of Broadway, A Musical Revue” will present many of the musical selections from SCTG’s most popular productions. This will celebrate our memorable 50th season. Date and Venue to be announced.

Background information will be forthcoming. SCTG produced it in 1973 to the enjoyment of our audience and now looks forward to re-offering it these 43 years later.
