The Guild’s annual Christmas Caroling evening will be Tuesday, December 8th. At 6:30 p.m., meet at MediLodge of St. Clair (behind St. John Providence River District Hospital) for our first stop. After entertaining the residents there, we’ll move south to Mallard’s Landing on River Road (M-29) at 7:30 p.m.
Afterwards, all are invited to Tony and Janelle Cavis’ home for an afterglow starting around 8:30 p.m. Sloppy Joes and chips will be provided; bring your own beverages and other food/snack items.
Come to all three stops or any you choose or can make it to. It’s a great evening of friendship and joy! Hope to see you there.
The St. Clair Theatre Guild is proud to be the recipient of the profits from local author Bob Swain’s recently published children’s book, Grandma’s Robin. Stop in to the Voyageur Restaurant in St. Clair on Thursday, November 19th and get a signed copy for your family.
While you’re there please sign up to become a SCTG Member, or Renew your Membership, with a one-third discount for calendar year 2016!
Buy a book or join SCTG and enjoy a free bar appetizer!
Through the generous donation by a local author and new SCTG Board member, the Saint Clair Theatre Guild will receive the Author’s portion of profits from the sale of his soon-to-be published children’s book, GRANDMA’S ROBIN. His narration and photos follow Momma Robin’s nest building, egg laying, incubation, hatching and daily activity right up to the day that the nest is empty.
Dads and Moms, Grandpas and Grandmas and Great Grandpas and Grandmas all will want to share this with the children in their lives. This is a picture book with a simple story to educate and entertain kids – and adults who also will find it charming.
To preorder copies at the discounted price of $8, ($12 after publication), please follow the link below. The first 25 orders receive signed copies from the author!

Please note: The recent headline of SCTG’s demise is blatantly UNTRUE! On the contrary, we are working even harder to invigorate and grow the organization. Of course, this is where YOU come in. If SCTG and community theatre have value to you and yours, please get involved in any of the numerous areas in which your talents can be used. Become a member of one of the committees as there is much more than auditioning for a production… set building, backstage coordination, house management for productions, marketing, fund development, and more! There are many positions that need YOU to keep SCTG healthy as we prepare to celebrate our 50th Anniversary next year.
Thank you for your support. I look forward to your reply.
