The CMH Players consist of staff from the St. Clair County Community Mental Health service, individuals receiving services, and other community actors. This year, due to COVID-19, instead of a stage play they have decided to film a number of monologues and scenes around the theme of Christmas and release it as “Home for the Holidays.”
In-person auditions are scheduled on Thursday, August 13 from 5 to 8 pm at the Citadel Stage. Virtual or scheduled auditions can be arranged by contacting Regina Spain at (810) 334-6415 orĀ ESRtheatre@gmail.com. They expect filming will begin in late August and continue through early October. There will be very small groups of actors in each scene – nothing over five people – and they will be flexible with filming times.
